Worship and Prayer

The church is now open once a month for private visiting and prayer (the dates are here) and once a month for a service. It is locked at other times. All other services and events are taking place online.

Worship:

We have a short simple online service via Zoom, every Sunday at 11.15am.

Additionally, there will be a said service of Holy Communion in church on the first Sunday of each month at 10.00am.

Bible Study:   Every Wednesday at 7pm. No prior experience needed.

For security reasons we can’t put the link to these meetings online, but if you send us an email (click here), we will send you the link and explain how it works.

Prayer Resources

Rev Dianne Gamble has prepared some resources to support our prayer life, which can be found here. We can also provide a printed copy if you prefer.

The Church of England’s Time to Pray app is now free and can be found here. Morning and Evening Prayer is available online here. The Church of England has also prepared these prayers for use at the time of the pandemic.

You can also send us your prayer requests here.

Worship Resources

Worship is broadcast by BBC television and radio each Sunday. You can check the weekly schedules on the Radio Times website.

A number of churches and groups are broadcasting worship on the internet. Examples include the Rend CollectiveRipon Cathedral, St Martin in the Fields, and the Taize Community. If you look around online you will be able to find every kind of Christian worship represented. Many local churches are offering live streamed worship – there is a full list here.
